How Do I Get Coverage?

CD REVIEWS:
First off I DO NOT do cd reviews. I don't have any writers to create them. Take a look at how often I post cd reviews from national acts. So even the bands I love get buried in the stack because I just do not have time.

NEWS:
I do however post news. So email me a press release. Please CLICK HERE and read how to submit a press release. My rules are pretty standard so following these guidelines will help you with all websites.

INTEVIEWS:
I have found that interviews with new and upcoming bands do not help those bands. Let's face it, no one has heard of you yet. So why would they give a shit about an interview?

I do interviews, but unsigned bands do get buried. How not to get buried? Interact with me on Facebook and Twitter. Post to the forums. Send me press releases. Get me familiar with your band first. Sending me press releases also gets the readers familiar with your band, so they care when I do an interview you. It is extremely rare that an unsigned band is willing to do the work to interact with us enough that they get an interview.

The reality is that getting an interview with us will not do you a damn bit of good if our readers don't already give a shit about you. So be active with us first. Then once our readers know who you are, start asking for an interview.

DO NOT just try and argue with me about why your band should be interviewed. This will guarantee no coverage.
