Aussie Pop-Punk Band Tonight Alive Invade U.S. With New Single

Australian pop-punk band Tonight Alive has released a new single, “Breaking & Entering,” from their forthcoming album, What Are You So Scared Of?, due out in North America on February 14 via  Fearless Records.  Fans can stream “Breaking & Entering” at bit.ly/wgCY1t, watch the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc6lhFWhofA and purchase the track on iTunes (http://bit.ly/TAbreaking) and other online retailers beginning today.   Additionally, fans can pre-order What Are You So Scared Of? in a variety of bundles from Fearless Records beginning tomorrow.

Formed in Sydney in 2008, Tonight Alive is made up of ingénue-with-attitude Jenna McDougall (vocals), Jake Hardy (guitar), Whakaio Taahi (guitar/vocals), Cam Adler (bass) and Matt Best (drums).  The quintet finished 2011 with a bang in the U.S. with the release of a new EP, Consider This, a viral cover of Mumford & Sons hit song “Little Lion Man” from Punk Goes Pop Volume 4 and dates on The Fearless Friends tour with blessthefall, garnering them an impressive following in the US and around the world. The band explodes into 2012, kicking off their European tour with Never Shout Never this week before heading back to Australia for Soundwave Festival in February.

Their fiery brand of pop-punk found its way to producer-extraordinaire Mark Trombino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World) who immediately expressed interest in producing the What Are You So Scared Of?.  In 2011 Tonight Alive traveled to the US where they recorded the album with Trombino at the famous NRG Studios over the course of two months.  And the result is nothing short of a pop-punk classic.

Featuring the hot new single, “Breaking & Entering,” What Are You So Scared Of? is a non-stop infectious thrill ride of bouncy fist-pumping pop-punk anthems.  No filler, all killer.  The band’s frontwoman Jenna McDougall shines with passion fueled vocals that meld seamlessly with the band’s memorable rocking riffs.  Tracks like “Starlight,” “Let It Land” and “Thank You & Goodnight” (featuring Mark Hoppus) showcase Tonight Alive’s incredible knack for catchy songwriting and polish out an album that will undoubtedly secure the band’s place alongside pop-punk elite

Tonight Alive will make their highly anticipated return to the US this spring.  Tour dates will be announced soon.

Don’t miss pop-punk’s most anticipated band!
