Pop Evil Debut Brand New New Music Video Featuring Mick Mars

POP EVIL has debuted a new music video for their latest hit single, "Boss's Daughter" exclusively on VEVO today. Featuring the likes of Playboy Playmate Jessa Hinton and co-writer Mick Mars of Motley Crue, the video leaves you wanting more. "This video is the best depiction of the energy we bring during our live performance.  Mick & Jessa were terrific to work with! Nathan and his crew made a killer all american rock & roll video," says frontman Leigh Kakaty.

Directed by Nathan "Karma" Cox, the video comes on the heels of the band announcing their participation in this summer's Tresspass Across America Tour.

Fast cars, hot women and good ol' American Rock and Roll are three main ingredients that make up POP EVIL, and all of the above hits you square in the jaw in this new video. Click HERE to view.

The band released "War Of Angels" last summer to much critical praise.

“Pop Evil's latest effort, War of Angels, sees the band beefing up their sound and displaying a good deal of growth and maturity that's a paramount example of why it's a shame the big labels don't give bands time to develop anymore” - Guitar World

War Of Angels is a heavier and more mature departure from their debut album." - Billboard

The band will embark on the TRESSPASS ACROSS AMERICA TOUR supporting KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH.

Kicking off July 13th in Broomfield, CO the tour stretches coast to coast. Additional support will come from EMURE, TRIVIUM, GOD FORBID and BATTLECROSS.

POP EVIL is Leigh Kakaty (lead vocals) Chachi Riot (drums) Davey Grahs (guitar) and Matt DiRito (bass).

eOne Music Reveals 2011 Radio Highlights

Grammy nominated supergroup CHICKENFOOT featuring guitarist Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar, released their much talked about follow up record titled "Chickenfoot III" (eOne Music/earMUSIC/Edel) this past September. With hit singles "Bigfoot" and "Different Devil" their presence in radio was bar none.

  • "Big Foot"  went to #1 at Classic Rock Radio
  • "Big Foot" went to #5 at Mainstream Rock Radio
  • "Different Devil" Debuts on Mainstream Rock Chart

The band was seen on national television outlets like Jimmy Kimmel Live, Fuse's "Hoppus on Music", CNN and Extra to name a few. USA Today even deemed the new full length the "beginning of a riff-driven renaissance." CHICKENFOOT then took their show on the road with their highly successful "Roadtest" tour which hit four major markets across the US. Currently touring Europe, the band has no plans of stopping anytime soon in 2012.

Multi-platinum rock band BUSH released "THE SEA OF MEMORIES" this past September to massive critical acclaim. Recorded with producer Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Metallica), This record was the seminal band’s first studio release in 10 years and the first to be released via their own imprint, Zuma Rock Records through an exclusive partnership with eOne Music. Their his single, "The Sound of Winter" was proven successful. Here are some highlights.

  • "The Sound of Winter" was #1 for 6 weeks at Alternative Rock Radio
  • "The Sound of Winter" went Top 5 at both Mainstream & Active Rock.
  • “The Sound of Winter” also holds the distinction of being the reunited group’s first No. 1 single since 1999’s chart-topping hit, “The Chemicals Between Us.”

BUSH then pushed off on a full US headlining tour to sold out crowds nationwide. The band was seen regularly on national television outlets such as "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno", " E!’s Chelsea Lately" and a first ever performance on the Discover Channel's hit TV series "American Chopper." 2012 has already gotten busy for the band after recently announcing arena North American tour dates with rock powerhouse NICKLEBACK this winter.

POP EVIL came out of the gates swinging with their full length "WAR OF ANGELS" released over the summer. With non-stop touring the band was able to make quite an impact at radio. Here are some of the highlights.

  • "Last Man Standing" - Top 5 at Active Rock Radio
  • "Monster You Made"  - Peaked at #6 at Active Rock & stayed on the chart for an impressive 30 weeks
  • FMQB's "Best New Artist"
  • "War Of Angels" officially one of the most spun albums released in 2011 at Active Rock Radio.
  • "Boss's Daughter" Debuts on Active Rock Chart

The band managed to land Revolver Magazine's "Band To Watch" in their November issue in addition to popping up in Billboard Magazine's "Happening Now" feature in a September issue. POP EVIL's most controversial act may have been when they tore up their old record contract on the stage, which ended up making SPIN's "Top Ten Moments of Rock on the Range 2011."

Pop Evil Debut Brand New Song

Michigan rock band POP EVIL have released a brand new song today called "Unstoppable." ESPN has debuted the track HERE. "We are very excited to announce the addition of two new songs to our iTunes Deluxe Version of 'War of Angels': 'Unstoppable' and a new acoustic version of 'Monster You Made,'" says front man Leigh Kakaty.

Produced by Johnny K, this is the first time the band has released all new material since their highly viral Michigan Wolverines football fight song which debuted over the summer.

Kakaty continues, "We recently had a break from the road to go into the studio with Johnny K. We knew we wanted to release these tracks soon so our fans would have something to kick off the new year! They deserve it, they've been there for us through the thick and thin!"

"Unstoppable" is about the obstacles we dealt with as a band during the past year. Going through a six month battle with our former record label and the loss of our drummer were both stressful for us as a band. Despite these obstacles, we still managed to overcome them all while playing over 200 shows this year!"
