Zippo Encore has announced sponsorship of the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival and will join the touring rock music and lifestyle festival on the road in North America from August 9 through September 15, 2013.
The fourth annual Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival will include a stellar lineup of multiplatinum superstars and breaking talent, featuring Alice In Chains, also with Jane’s Addiction. These seminal alternative rock bands will be joined by Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive on the Rockstar Energy Main Stage. The Zippo Encore Festival Stage powered by Ernie Ball will host performances from Walking Papers (with Duff McKagan), Middle Class Rut, New Politics, Danko Jones, Chuck Shaffer Picture Show and the local Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands winner in each market. UPROAR will also feature the COLDCOCK Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage powered by Ernie Ball, with performances from breaking talent including The Dead Daisies, Beware Of Darkness, Charming Liars and more bands to be announced soon.
A highlight of Zippo Encore’s UPROAR involvement will be the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival Zippo Encore Artist Custom Series Program. Several bands on the tour will create custom lighters featuring their own unique designs. These lighters will ONLY be sold at the Zippo booth at UPROAR shows. In addition, fans can submit their own artwork for a chance to have their design become the official Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival Zippo Lighter, which will ONLY be sold on-site during the festival this summer.
