Purchase IWRESTLEDABEARONCE’s GLAAD t-shirt now at http://iwabostore.com/

Watch a special video message from guitarist Steven Bradley here: http://youtu.be/gGrt9K6-6b8

“Our band has one simple message to spread - keep an open mind and be accepting of people and ideas which might seem different to you,” Bradley adds.  “In keeping with that message, we are very happy to announce this exclusive shirt design with 100% of the profits being donated directly to GLAAD. We feel that everyone out there has the right to be happy, and that you should not be discriminated against because of your sexuality.  We'd also love to remind people that just because you're heterosexual, it doesn't mean that you should ignore the issue of LGBT rights.  Human history is riddled with examples of extreme prejudice against people and ideas that others simply do not understand, and we're passionate about spreading the message that just because you don't agree with or understand somebody, that doesn't immediately, make them wrong.  Homophobia belongs on the same list as other vile concepts like racism and sexism, and we need to do all we can to eradicate them from our world."

Support equality for all by purchasing the new limited edition t-shirt and keep up with IWRESTLEDABEARONCE at https://www.facebook.com/iwrestledabearonce.

Surrounded By Monsters: Artwork And Pre-Order Posted!

Genre defying experimental noise merchants SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS have unveiled the artwork for their Nuclear Blast debut Novella. The image was created by artist Rick McDonald. "The concept of the album art was derived from three song titles on the album, ‘You Dirty Rat’, ‘Ask Mr. Owl’ and ‘Sending The Wolf’,” explained the band. “The art features 3 animalistic characters that symbolize the different themes or emotions of each of the three songs and ultimately the album."

Share the artwork with your friends using the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiEG992nH0o.

Pre-Order Novella as a bundle or just the CD by itself at http://bit.ly/sbmnbusa and http://consumermerch.com/collections/surrounded-by-monsters.

Novella was produced by IWRESTLEDABEARONCE guitarist Steven Bradley and was tracked at Infrasonic Sound as well as Bucket of Truth studios in Los Angeles, CA.

Iwrestledabearonce Releases Statement On Fill-In Vocalist

IWRESTLEDABEARONCE is on the full Vans Warped Tour this summer performing on the Ernie Ball Stage.  Fans attending the festival will notice something unfamiliar on stage: IWRESTLEDABEARONCE performing with a different vocalist.
To cast all rumors and speculation aside, guitarist Steven Bradley has issued the following statement:

"So here it is... complete transparency.  A press release written by me (Steven, original IWABO guitarist) with the truth on what's going down.

The day before our Warped Tour show in Dallas, TX we had a day off in the DFW area. Krysta lives there now, so she went home to relax and do some laundry. The next day, we received word from her minutes before our set that she discovered she and her fiancé are expecting a kid and she would not be returning to finish Warped Tour with us. Obviously this is an insane curveball for everybody, but in typical IWABO fashion we will press on. And no matter what happens, Krysta has been our best friend for years and we want her to be happy.

So what the fuck is the plan then, you ask? Well on literally a few minutes notice, our friend Courtney LaPlante flew her ass down to meet up with us today so that won't miss a single show of this tour. Courtney is a beast in both the singing and screaming departments and is also an incredibly awesome person. We wouldn't tarnish the years of work that we've put into this band by having somebody half-ass it on stage with us, so please come to a show and give her a high-five and make her feel welcome for doing us this huge favor. It makes it feel even better and more natural since she has been a long-term fan of our band and already knows the material.

So long story short; Fear not friends and Bear Fuckers... We will continue to play Warped Tour and we hope that you will continue to support us. Getting to play for and talk to so many of you on a daily basis is honestly what we live for, and we will definitely continue with our plan to high-five everybody on Earth. We will update you with more info soon, including some new tour dates and info on our recently-finished full-length horror/comedy/whatever film A Beary Scary Movie!

And finally, thank you so much to everybody who has been so supportive of us for all these years and we hope to see you again soon!

Love,

- Steven / iwabo"

Surrounded By Monsters Sign To Nuclear Blast!

Genre defying Denton, TX based experimental noise merchants SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS have signed to Nuclear Blast Records worldwide! The band recently wrapped up the recording sessions for their Nuclear Blast debut and are currently in mixing mode. The record is tentatively scheduled for a Fall release. Check out this video of the band announcing the new partnership here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY1JgbgdiRs.

"We at Nuclear Blast are stoked to welcome a - well, not straight, but certainly forward thinking band like SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS to the family,”  stated Markus Jakob, A&R / Promoter at Nuclear Blast Europe. “It's always been and always will be our biggest goal to keep our roster as diverse and exciting as possible. SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS is a band that will contribute these two elements and we are extremely amazed to be working with them from now on! Keep your eyes peeled, your ears open and LET CHAOS REIGN!"

"We're very excited to work with a label that's willing to support a band that is doing what they love no matter how weird or different the music is,” added their most non-heinous guitarist Lee Dudley. “We're ready to take over the world. WYLD STALLYNS!!!"

"We are all beyond stoked and extremely grateful to get to work with such an amazing label,” added keyboardist Traci Pason. “I've never drank so much champagne in my life."

Their upcoming Nuclear Blast debut was produced by IWRESTLEDABEARONCE guitarist Steven Bradley and was tracked at Infrasonic Sound as well as Bucket of Truth studios in Los Angeles, CA.

"I couldn't be more excited about working on this album for my long-time friends in SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS,” commented Bradley. “I've loved these guys and gal for years now, so I'm extremely stoked and honored to help record their Nuclear Blast debut. Everything so far sounds incredible, and I really think that tons of folks out there are about to discover their new favorite band."

Iwrestledabearonce's Steven Bradley Launches Clothing Line

Steven Bradley, guitarist/songwriter for Iwrestledabearonce, debuted his Let’s Make Mistakes clothing line this week. Initial items for sale include logo t-shirts, tanks, stickers and koozies. The Let’s Make Mistakes line is available online at http://letsmakemistakes.merchnow.com/, as well as this summer at the HK Army Tent on the Vans Warped Tour and on the All Stars Tour featuring Iwrestledabearonce.

10% of the revenue from Let’s Make Mistakes will be donated to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Steven explains why he chose to work with this charity organization and aid in their efforts to restore instrumental music education programs: “I decided that if I was going to start up a clothing line, the money made from it should definitely help a cause that I'm passionate about. I'm fortunate enough to have a great family who have supported my musical aspirations for as long as I can remember, and without their support I definitely wouldn't be in Iwrestledabearonce, traveling the world, and living the dream I've had since I was young. I know that not everyone is lucky enough to be raised in that same environment, so if selling these clothes can help generate enough money for VH1 Save The Music to purchase just one instrument for a kid who desperately wants it, then that will be by far one of the best things I've made happen in my life.”

Steven elaborates on the inspiration behind Let’s Make Mistakes, “It's primarily about spreading the message of embracing every single opportunity that you have in life. Nothing is worse than looking back on a missed chance and kicking yourself for wasting what could have turned into something amazing.”

He continues, “Starting a clothing line is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. I really just want to spread the message of encouraging people to be open-minded and not be afraid of living outside of their ‘norm.’ You never know what might happen when you branch out and try something new and different! Obviously sometimes you'll chalk it up as a ‘mistake,’ but I've found that more often than not, the best things in life happen when you let your guard down a little and try something new. Hence, ‘mistakes’ shouldn't always be looked down upon as terrible, when they could in fact be the start of something great.”

The company founder encourages people to stay in touch with him and keep up with new designs through the Let’s Make Mistakes Facebook page and Twitter feed. Says Steven, “New items are already in the works and I'm always listening to people to find out what they're interested in seeing printed. I personally check the Let’s Make Mistakes Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis and would love to hear people's thoughts on what should come next.”

The most extensive product availability will be through the Let’s Make Mistakes MerchNow webstore: http://letsmakemistakes.merchnow.com/.
