MP3 Version Of The Song Dropout By The Commander-In-Chief

The powerful new version of the song "Dropout" by Norwegian 7string guitarist/singer/songwriter "The Commander-In-Chief" is now available at Reverb Nation.

This version was self produced by The Chief in 2011 and it was mixed by Pantera producer Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Hatebreed, Hellyeah), who later produced her debut EP "Evolution".  Mastering was done by Stephen Marsh (Megadeth, Sex in the City movies).

The song has been released for digital sale on CDBaby and Reverbnation and it will be available on Itunes, Spotify, etc soon.

Here is the link to the official music video for "Dropout"

Written while The Chief attended Lincoln Park high school in Chicago some years ago, "Dropout" is about gang violence and all the kids and teens who are being killed each year in Chicago. Many of them are "school dropouts" so they are not even  part of the statistics of school-kids being killed. This song is about them.

Sensational Live Video For The History Books Of Metal/Hard Rock

When female 7 string guitarist/singer/songwriter in metal "The Commander-In-Chief" released her critically acclaimed debut EP "Evolution" a couple of months ago, it came with a written statement from legendary PANTERA engineer/producer Sterling Winfield. He confirmed that everything was 100% organic with NO Auto tune, NO Protools magic or any other tricks in studio. Everything was the way she played and sang it.

Despite that, people have been questioning if she can really do this live, especially her song THOU. THOU is not the most catchy or radio friendly song on her EP but it is the most heavy and technical one. It is a head-banger song with 2 guitar solos, awesome riffs, an Arpeggio section in the bridge- and she sings at the same time.  On top of that it has a vocal line that shows off some of her inhuman 4 octave range. It leaves the audience in complete shock and awe every time and she closes all her shows with it.

She is gigging around the UK with her first tour coming up in July. She is confirmed for Bloodstook Metal Festival in August, with Alice Cooper headlining.

If you have a chance to see this young "one-woman-metal-hurricane" (as Metal Hammer UK called her) LIVE, do not miss it!

She will be featured in a MAJOR US Music magazine in July and she will also be mentioned in another big US Music magazine that month.
