Ryan Dunn Was A Selfish Prick And Roger Ebert Is A Hero!

So if you have followed me online for awhile you know I like to stir the pot sometimes. One of the reasons is that it makes people re-think the default line of thought. In a world where we are told what to think, what is proper to think, say, feel, tweet, Facebook, and what is the proper way to wipe our collective asses, I think it is good to shake things up and force people to look at things a different way. Well, I guess this might do just that. Honestly I am shocked and offended that everyone is talking up someone who died because they were a drunk driver. Then when another celebrity points out that what killed him was being a drunk driver, they get totally blasted with hate mail and requests to ban them from major social networks. We now ban people for pointing out that driving drunk is a bad idea? Really?

I understand that Bam Magera and the rest of the Jackass crew has lost a friend, but this friend played Russian Roulette and lost. He made the choice to put the bullets in the chamber and pull the trigger. When you drink 3 beers and then take 3 shots you are drunk. If you get in a car after drinking that much and then bring your car up well past a hundred miles per hour, you are being a selfish prick! You have put your life at risk, your passenger's life at risk, and everyone else on the road's life at risk. We are lucky that all this Jackass killed was himself and his friend. It's actually kind of shocking that he didn't kill a few people that had no choice in the matter. He was being a selfish prick and fuck him for that. At least the heroin junkie only kills themselves.

So suck it Jackass fans that temporarily got Roger Ebert's Facebook page banned. I called him a selfish prick. You got something to say about that? Drunk driving only avoids the Darwin Awards because it's so damn boring and cliché. Think about this for a second. What did this guy make his fame from? Being what? Oh yeah, he is a Jackass! Not just a jackass with a capital j, but now also with a little letter j. Stop doing what everyone expects from this fan base. Everyone expects you to be moronic dullards and you fell right into the trap every time. So plug your brain in for a few seconds (after you dust off the cobwebs) and think about if Ryan Dunn's drunk driving killed one of your loved ones. Ok, what if tomorrow one of your loved ones are killed by a drunk driver? Would you still want to attack Roger Ebert for saying drunk driving is bad? I doubt it.

Let's make sure Ryan Dunn's death is not in vain. Let's use it! Let's make it a teaching tool. The school I work at is days from letting out for the summer. Kids are going to be going to parties and will be tempted to get into cars. This could be used to send a message that saves some lives! So please everyone. Let's calm down and use our brains and make Ryan Dunn the poster boy against drinking and driving for this current generation. Let's make his death truly mean something. Let's turn this into something positive. Deal?
