Direwolves To Release Debut EP On Throatruiner Records

DIREWOLVES have announced that they’ll release their debut 12"EP on mid-october via Throatruiner Records (Bone Dance, Ken Mode, Birds In Row…).

Hailing from Lorient (western France), the band merges modern hardcore, crust and screamo on its debut EP "Me From Myself, To Banish". Recorded by producer/sound engineer Amaury Sauvé (Birds In Row, As We Draw, Comity…) at La Senelle, these six songs find the perfect balance between emotion and heaviness, reminding of bands such as Alpinist, Lewd Acts or Killing The Dream.

The artwork has been designed by Fortifem, and pre-orders will be up on 18th october.

Date Rape: Debut CD Available Via Play The Assassin Records

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Refused, Bravo Fucking Bravo, Transistor Transistor, Comadre, and Owls!, Ukrainian newcomers DATE RAPE have crafted a post-screamo/punk molotov cocktail ready to instigate a new cold war. Play The Assassin recently compiled the band's three out-of-print EPs -- Date Rape, The First Date Rape and Summer Tape -- to form the band's U.S. debut, Sugar Coated Violence. The epic, 17-track production was recorded and mixed at Black Light Studio, in Kiev, Ukraine and is currently available in limited quantities.

I Declare War And Casino Madrid Releases Available

Artery Recordings’ final releases of 2011 are now available in stores and all digital service providers.  Seattle’s I Declare War is back with their sophomore Artery Recordings album, the self-entitled I Declare War and San Diego screamo/metalcore rockers Casino Madrid are offering Robots, the first album since their recent signing to the label.  Both albums are out now.

I Declare War is produced by Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Haste The Day).  The album is the first the band recorded with new vocalist, Jamie Hanks.  The band has created a series of making-of videos from the studio that are available here.  I Declare War’s self-titled sophomore album can be purchased on iTunes here.  They will be on tour with MyChildren MyBride, Within The Ruins, Lionheart and The Plot In You this November and December in support of I Declare War (tour dates to be announced soon.)
