Metal Injection Posts New Interview With Huntress Frontwoman

Metal Injection's Noa Avior conducted an interview with Jill Janus, frontwoman of Huntress, during a recent NYC stop of the Paganfest. Jill talks about what it's like for a woman to be on the road with a bunch of dudes, being on the road without an album, and all the comrade of Paganfest, sharing stories about sharing drinks with Alestorm and Tursisas.

Paganfest: America Part III" Featuring Turisas Begins This Week

Battle metal titans TURISAS will be heading back to North America on March 29th for "PaganFest: America Part III" presented by Guitar World, Full Metal Jackie, and Metal Injection-- the band's first-ever US headlining run! Joining the Finnish sextet on their triumphant return to the States is a gathering of bands from across the world: Scotland's ALESTORM, Russia's ARKONA, and the US's very own HUNTRESS.

To coincide with the tour beginning this week, three special PaganFest contests have been launched: one from Decibel Magazine.com, one from Metal Sucks.net, and one from tour sponsor Full Metal Jackie (all three contests feature autographed CD and t-shirt packs from all of the bands on the bill). Turisas To Headline “Paganfest: America Part III” Tour

Battle metallers TURISAS will be heading back to North America this spring for "PaganFest: America Part III", their first-ever US headlining run! Joining the Finnish sextet on their triumphant return to the States is a gathering of bands from across the world: Scotland's ALESTORM, Rome's EX DEO, Russia's ARKONA, and the US's very own HUNTRESS.

In regards to this upcoming tour, TURISAS front-man Mathias Nygard comments:  "It took time, but finally we had a chance to make it back to North America. After many successful tours there with acts like CRADLE OF FILTH and DRAGONFORCE during the past few years, it's great to return as a headliner. This is a killer combo with great variety-- some of the most twisted acts of the folkier side of metal!  Be prepared for a great night out-- I expect to witness some crazy audiences!"
