Evile To Take Part In Live Q&A Session This Thursday

EVILE are due to take part in a live Question & Answer session this Thursday, February 14th at 19:00 GMT.

The band's vocalist and rhythm guitarist, MATT DRAKE, and lead guitarist, OL DRAKE, will be appearing with producer RUSS RUSSELL live on Google Hangouts from Parlour Studios in Kettering, England, where the band are currently recording their fourth full-length album.

The band members will be chatting and answering questions from fans, which can be submitted on EVILE's Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/evileuk or on Twitter with the hash tag #AskEvile.

The Q&A session will be hosted live on Earache Records' YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/earacherecords

"A week into recording Evile album #4 and Ben's finished all the drum tracks.  Now we're onto bass and guitar.  In true musician fashion, I'm going to say 'It's sounding huge!' - why wouldn't I say that?  If it didn't sound huge, we'd make it sound huge.  I could say 'It sounds pretty crap' to be different, but it sounds huge.  We can't wait to get this album out to you all.  Check our Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr for picture updates etc.!

Evile Prepare For Special Hometown Show This Saturday

EVILE are gearing up for a special hometown performance at the Holmfirth Picturedrome tomorrow - Saturday, November 3rd.

The show follows EVILE's headlining UK tour with WOLF, which wrapped up on Monday in Southampton.  Joining EVILE at the Holmfirth Picturedrome are special guests and labelmates SAVAGE MESSIAH along with competition winners SHRAPNEL.

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:

"Tomorrow we hit our hometown for a night of metal with our friends Savage Messiah and competition winners Shrapnel.  I can't wait to get back on the Picturedrome stage and share it with two other great bands.  We're selling a very limited edition T-shirt on the night which will only ever be available at this show, so it's a great chance to grab some rare Evile merch.  Feel free to come in Halloween fancy dress!  The night is, after all, called "All Hallow's Evile".  See you all there!"

Evile Announce Free Charity Gig In London

Evile have announced a one-off London show on July 3rd to celebrate the recent release of the ‘In Memoriam’ single. Joining Evile at the Old Blue Last, Shoreditch will be label mates Savage Messiah.

‘In Memoriam’ – taken from Evile’s latest album, ‘Five Serpent’s Teeth’ – premiered on VEVO earlier this month, and is also available on iTunes including an acoustic version of the track, a radio edit, and the official music video.

Evile Confirm Wolf As Special Guests For UK Tour

EVILE have confirmed that Swedish heavy metallers WOLF will be joining the band as special guests for their recently-confirmed UK tour, which kicks off on October 18th in Glasgow.

EVILE will also be returning to Ireland and Northern Ireland on the trek, following two shows there with MACHINE HEAD earlier this week.  Two shows have been added to the tour - Belfast on October 20th, and Dublin on October 21st.

"We're very pleased to announce the first band on our tour of the UK & IRE in October 2012 is the awesome WOLF.  Evile and Wolf's paths have crossed many times and it's going to be great to follow the same path for these shows.  They're such a great band and they're going to add so much energy and enjoyment to the gigs.  They were kind enough to donate Wolf gear to the Mike Alexander raffle which we ran back in 2009 too.  I can't wait to get back out on the road for our UK & IRE fans and bring along the heavy metal thunder in the name of WOLF!

Evile To Film Music Video For 'In Memoriam'

EVILE are preparing to film a music video for the track "In Memoriam", which appears on the band's recently-released new album, FIVE SERPENT'S TEETH.

The band are due to shoot the video on April 29th in the North of England and will be working with director BEN THORNLEY of Sitcom Soldiers (THRICE, THE BLACKOUT, DEAF HAVANA).

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:

"The initial idea was to release the 'Cult' video, as we did, then immediately get onto recording the video for 'In Memoriam'; this was easier said than done.  It's been well documented why the song the exists.  When it came to getting the 'right'/'appropriate' treatment for the video it was a lengthy process.  The song is so close to all of us that we wanted to make sure the video complimented the song and its subject matter, and that all four of us were happy with how the song will be portrayed visually.  If we'd have settled on the first idea after 'Cult', we wouldn't have been happy, so amidst touring and gigging we've been working hard on getting this 100% before we move on to the next video.  The song is basically about loss, which we can all relate to, so we wanted to express that in the video, while staying respectful to why the song exists.  We can't wait to get this filmed and out there for all to enjoy!"
