Nikki Sixx's Photography Featured On Leica Camera Blog

Leica Camera, the international manufacturer of handcrafted and precision photographic equipment, has revealed part two of the "One Step Up From The Abyss;" a series chronicling the powerful photography from Motley Crue and Sixx:A.M.'s Nikki Sixx. Sixx's touching and impactful images take us on his journey throughout Canada as he embarked on Motley Crue's biggest tour of the region.

Nikki Sixx introduced the world to his photography in 2011 with his New York Times best-selling book, This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography, and Life Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx. Since then, Sixx has photographed for The New York Post's coveted fashion supplement, Alexa and was selected to speak as a guest at the elite Annenberg Space For Photography in Los Angeles as well as other accomplishments.

"Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx" Reaches 100 Affiliates

On the heels of its three-year anniversary, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx has reached a broadcasting milestone of 100 affiliates.  Since launching in Feb. of 2010, the Premiere Networks-syndicated program has amassed a loyal following of 2.7 million weekly listeners, further solidifying Sixx Sense as one of the most-widely-syndicated rock radio programs in the U.S. (source: Arbitron, FA'12, Nationwide, Exact Times, Cume, P 12+).

Motley Crue Returns To Vegas

The world's most notorious band will be coming back to the world's most notorious city this fall, when Mötley Crüe returns to Las Vegas. The rockers best known for going to the extreme will once again take over the stage at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for an exclusive twelve-show engagement September 18 through October 6. The band blew away fans and critics last February with twelve over-the-top, sold-out shows. Tickets are on sale now.

The fall shows will be an all-new production and the band is pushing their own envelope once again. The production will be designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live. There will be plenty of surprise elements for fans and a set-list full of hits.

"We are proud to have pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency last year and can't wait to come back this year to take it over the top with a brand new show that will be unlike anything you've ever seen Mötley Crüe do before," said Nikki Sixx.

"The guys had such a wild and successful run the first time around, I'm sure they will want to do everything bigger and better this time. Motley Crue Announce Seven US Tour Dates

Following three previously announced dates, MÖTLEY CRÜE unveil today three additional shows for their first US run of 2013. The CRÜE are currently rounding out eight shows in Australia with Kiss before heading out on their biggest headlining Canadian run ever with special guests, Big Wreck. The seven US dates begin on May 16th in Bangor, ME and will also be routing through Gilford, NH; Uncasville, CT; two shows in Bethlehem, PA; Atlantic City, NJ and one other to be announced.

Best Buy And Premiere Networks Join Forces For Sixx Sense Rock

Best Buy and Premiere Networks today announced a new multi-platform promotion called Sixx Sense Rock, a partnership curated by Nikki Sixx's national radio show Sixx Sense to bring the "best rock on the radio" into Best Buy stores. Beginning July 15, a special Sixx Sense Rock branded display will feature a selection of eight rock albums in stores nationwide. In addition, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx and www.SixxSense.com will highlight one of the albums each week for eight weeks.
