For Today Fight The Silence Tour Dates Announced

Christian metalcore band For Today announce the first leg of tour dates for their Fight The Silence Tour presented by Outburn Magazine.    The tour will run January through February 2013 and feature support from the bands Memphis May Fire, The Word Alive, Upon A Burning Body and Gideon. Tour dates  below and additional cities to be announced soon.


For Today recently wrapped a headline tour with Impending Doom, Sleeping Giant, and The Chariot and performed at the California Metal Fest.
 
For Today’s May album release Immortal debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at #15 with over 14,700 albums sold in its first week out and has sold close to 31,000 to date.
 
The album was released to major critical acclaim with Revolver Magazine declaring it to be “Rife with crafty guitar hooks and scream-along choruses.” Alternative Press also commented, “For Today have dialed back the bombast just enough to make their pounding combination of furious punk and vicious metal sound more immediate and live sounding.”

For Today Premiere New Video For The Song “Foundation” 

Christian metalcore band For Today has premiered their new video for the song “Foundation” on VEVO – WATCH HERE (http://vevo.ly/RHFX7G).  The band’s new album, Immortal (Razor & Tie), is available in-stores and online now. The video for “Foundation” was filmed with director Ramon Boutisveth (All That Remains, For Today, Trivium).

For Today will hit the road once again this fall headlining their Unshakeable Tour presented by World Vision which kicks off October 11th in St. Petersburg, FL and runs through November 11th in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The tour will feature additional support from Impending Doom, Sleeping Giant, The Chariot, Texas In July and HundredthFor Today will then head to Europe this December for a string of headlining dates (full tour dates below).

For Today Announce Headlining Nationwide Tour

Christian metalcore band For Today are hitting the road once again with the nationwide headlining tour following their successful summer run on the Vans Warped Tour. The tour kicks off October 11th in St. Petersberg, FL and runs through the middle of November making stops throughout the country and features additional support from Impending Doom, Sleeping Giant, The Chariot, Texas In July and Hundredth For Today will also head to Europe this winter for a string of headlining dates.  (Full tour dates below).

For Today’s New Album Explodes Onto Billboard Top 200

Razor & Tie’s latest developing act For Today’s new studio album Immortal crashes into the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart this week debuting at #15 and #3 on the Independent Chart with over 14,700 albums sold in its first week out. Immortal also lands on a number of other Billboard charts including: #1 on the Hard Music Chart, #1 on the Christian Current/Contemporary Chart, #1 on the Top Christian/Gospel Chart and #7 on the Rock Music Chart.

The impressive debut of Immortal nearly doubles first week sales of For Today’s previous 2010 album, Breaker (Facedown) which sold 7,400 in its first week.
