Canadian Punks, The Brains, Debut 'The Monster Within' Today

Canadian horror-punk band The Brains has released their grotesque masterpiece, The Monster Within, today via Sailor’s Grave Records in the U.S. and on Stomp Records in Canada.  The band is currently streaming the new album in its entirety at Bloody-Disgusting.com.  Fans can purchase the album digitally today at sailorsgraverecords.com/store and on CD May 7th.

On their latest release, The Brains hold nothing back as they spew forth bone chilling bass lines and snarling rhythm.  Featuring tracks like “Stay Back” and the album’s title track, The Monster Within is a non-stop ass-kickin, boot-stompin, pit-swirling barnburner that melds frantic rockabilly with furious punk rock.  
 
Montreal’s finest undead band will hit the road for a handful of Canadian dates with a U.S. run in the works for later this year.
