Full Of Hell: Month-Long U.S. Tour Assault Begins Tomorrow

Pennsylvania/Maryland-based noise/hardcore revolutionaries FULL OF HELL will embark on their most intense run of their heavyweight 2013 tour itinerary this week, as the act’s month-long American assault in support of their second LP Rudiments Of Mutilation is set to set Long Island ablaze tomorrow evening.

Following the tour’s start, subsequent shows as part of this year’s Maryland Deathfest, Chaos In Tejas and more are to follow, including a string of shows alongside the mighty Integrity followed by more than two weeks of shows alongside Seven Sisters of Sleep, possibly the only time SSOS will ever fully tour. Just one month after the wicked U.S. trek, FULL OF HELL will invade Europe for a three-week bombardment of the continent alongside Circle Takes the Square and Code Orange Kids.

Now just three weeks from its official release into the populous, Rudiments Of Mutilation is undoubtedly a contender for most scathing album of the year, as FULL OF HELL’s bestial power and corrosive elements continue to become more apparent. Through their barrage of whiplashing psycho-drone feedback holes and noise-drenched pedal attacks a noxious brew of Converge and Pageninetynine gone the ways of Bastard Noise and Discordance Axis, Rudiments Of Mutilation proves to be the band’s most incapacitating material yet. Recorded with Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations and mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate, Old, Phantomsmasher), Rudiments Of Mutilation captures the incredible conviction the young crew culminate live, catapulting their energetic hatesurge into the audience and inspiring riotous angst amongst the humans.

Stay tuned as FULL OF HELL prepares for the release of their first official video in the coming days, in addition to new tour updates and more. Rudiments Of Mutilation will hit the streets on June 11, 2013 worldwide via A389 Recordings.

Ninety-Six (96) Premiere Music Video For ‘Had Enough’

New Jersey hardcore band Ninety-Six (96) have teamed up with Alternative Press for the exclusive premiere of the bands debut music video for the single Had Enough. Had Enough is off 96’s highly acclaimed debut full-length record entitled Caught In The Grips. Caught In The Grips was recorded at Big Blue Meenie Studio with Tim Giles (Madball, Agnostic Front, Taking Back Sunday).

To check out the music video for Had Enough, head over to Alternative Press at: http://www.altpress.com/aptv/video/video_premiere_96_had_enough

To stream and purchase Caught In The Grips head over to Ninety-Six’s bandcamp page here:http://ninetysix.bandcamp.com/album/caught-in-the-grips

Ninety-Six vocalist Corey Donahue says of Had Enough "Had Enough is a tribute to where we grew up, I was tired on hearing ill news about friends and family that get caught in the grips or addiction, my frustration comes thru in my lyrics and the song structure is something we are all proud of. Had Enough is the most important track on this record for all of us.”

In a genre where loyalty and tradition mean everything, North Jersey’s Ninety Six not only emulate those sentiments, but expands on them with a take on hardcore that seems to of been lost in todays breakdown laden heavy music scene. Now, with a critically acclaimed debut record under their belts, Ninety Six is poised to leave an impressive footprint in hardcore.

Ninety-Six’s music is laced with energetic, groove-laden riffs that pays respect and homage to the way hardcore used to be done while staying original. Having already played with hardcore legends such as Sick of It All, Suicidal Tendencies, Biohazard, Cro-Mags, and Madball, Ninety Six’s sound continues to grow and garnish praise from those who know the band best, their fans. Ninety-Six is vocalist Corey Donahue, guitarists Patrick DeFrancisci and Mark Gurducci, bassist Giavanni Escamilla and drummer Steve Cerici.

Unkind: Reveal New Album Details

Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have revealed the album details for their upcoming sixth full-length entitled Pelon Juuret (Translation:  Roots of Fear). The album was recorded with producer Kari Nieminen at Noisecamp studios in Turku, Finland at the end of 2012.  Pelon Juuret continues in the direction of the group’s previous work, offering up a furious fusion of d-beat hardcore crossed with a highly creative touch of atmospherics —as if Mogwai made a record of Tragedy covers or From Ashes Rise were influenced by Explosions In The Sky.

The album will be released on CD/LP/Digital via Relapse Records on July 9th in North America, July 8th in the UK / World, and July 5th in Germany, Benelux and Finland.  A trailer for Pelon Juuret is available here while exclusive pre-order packages are available via Relapse here.
