For Today’s Prevailer Digital Film Now Available For Pre-Order

For Today’s digital documentary film, Prevailer, is now available for pre-order on the iTunes Store HERE (http://bit.ly/PrevailerDoc) and is set for release on May 7th.

Prevailer features a 90 plus minute film about the band from their humble beginnings to sharing the stage worldwide.  Live footage was filmed from the band’s full summer spent on the 2012 Van’s Warped Tour as well as from their 2012 Fight the Silence headline tour.  The movie also features many of the band’s official music videos (six in total).  The Prevailer film was directed by former Devil Wears Prada’s keyboardist, James Baney.

For Today’s Prevailer EP (Razor & Tie), recently sold over 10,228 units in its first week at retail and debuted on a series of Billboard charts - #2 on Hard Rock, #2 on Christian, #12 on Independent, #14 on Rock, and #47 on the Top 200.  The Prevailer EP (audio songs)is available now on iTunes HERE (http://bit.ly/PREVAILER).  
 
Prevailer EP is the band’s second release with Razor & Tie and was produced by Will Putney (Four Year Strong, Lamb of God, Suicide Silence). Putney also produced For Today’s first Razor & Tie release, 2012 album Immortal. Alternative Press raves that lead singer Mattie Montgomery’s “clenched-fist roaring is perfectly matched by his band mates’ digitally crunchy riffs and seismic breakdowns.”

For Today Premieres New Music Video For “Flesh And Blood”

For Today has premiered a new video for the song “Flesh and Blood” on Revolvermag.com – WATCH HERE. The video for “Flesh and Blood” was directed by Ramon Boutviseth(All That Remains, P.O.D., Trivium).

For Today Announce New EP/DVD Prevailer Release Date

For Today have announced an April 2^nd release date for their forthcoming EP/DVD, Prevailer.   The EP will feature 5 songs (four new songs and one acoustic track) and the DVD will feature a 90 plus minute film about the band from their humble beginnings to sharing the stage worldwide.  Live footage was filmed from the band’s full summer spent on the 2012 Van’s Warped Tour as well as from their 2012 Fight the Silence headline tour.  The DVD will also feature select official music videos.

This past week For Today kicked off their headline Fight The Silence Tour with support from the bands Memphis May Fire, The Word Alive, Upon A Burning Body and Gideon.  For Today will jump on the road with As I Lay Dying and The Devil Wears Prada in February through April  (tour dates below).

For Today Fight The Silence Tour Dates Announced

Christian metalcore band For Today announce the first leg of tour dates for their Fight The Silence Tour presented by Outburn Magazine.    The tour will run January through February 2013 and feature support from the bands Memphis May Fire, The Word Alive, Upon A Burning Body and Gideon. Tour dates  below and additional cities to be announced soon.

For Today recently wrapped a headline tour with Impending Doom, Sleeping Giant, and The Chariot and performed at the California Metal Fest.

 

For Today’s May album release Immortal debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at #15 with over 14,700 albums sold in its first week out and has sold close to 31,000 to date.

 

The album was released to major critical acclaim with Revolver Magazine declaring it to be “Rife with crafty guitar hooks and scream-along choruses.” Alternative Press also commented, “For Today have dialed back the bombast just enough to make their pounding combination of furious punk and vicious metal sound more immediate and live sounding.”

For Today Premiere New Video For The Song “Foundation”

Christian metalcore band For Today has premiered their new video for the song “Foundation” on VEVO – WATCH HERE (http://vevo.ly/RHFX7G).  The band’s new album, Immortal (Razor & Tie), is available in-stores and online now. The video for “Foundation” was filmed with director Ramon Boutisveth (All That Remains, For Today, Trivium).

For Today will hit the road once again this fall headlining their Unshakeable Tour presented by World Vision which kicks off October 11th in St. Petersburg, FL and runs through November 11th in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The tour will feature additional support from Impending Doom, Sleeping Giant, The Chariot, Texas In July and Hundredth.  For Today will then head to Europe this December for a string of headlining dates (full tour dates below).
