Evile To Perform At Luarca Metal Fest In Spain

EVILE are gearing up for their appearance at Luarca Metal Fest tonight - Friday, July 20th - in Luarca, Spain.

The band are set to perform at 23:10 this Friday night.  The line-up for the two day festival also includes the likes of MNEMIC, WE ARE THE DAMNED, CRISIX, CLOCKWORK and more.

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:

"Can't wait to travel back to sunny Spain to play some metal for some of the craziest metalheads in the world.  We always have great shows in Spain and Basque, so I expect Luarca will be no different.  See you all there!  De Puta Madre!"

EVILE are set to perform at the UK's Bloodstock Open Air festival in August, followed by a UK headlining tour in October with WOLF.  The UK tour will finish off with a special hometown show on November 3rd with label mates SAVAGE MESSIAH.

Evile Launch Competition To Open For Them At Hometown Show

EVILE are due to kick off a UK tour in October, culminating in a special hometown show at the Picturedrome in Holmfirth on November 3rd.

As well as featuring support from label mates SAVAGE MESSIAH, EVILE are looking for one lucky, unsigned UK band to open the show, and you and your band could be the lucky ones to win that coveted slot.

To be in with a chance of supporting EVILE at the Holmfirth show, all you need to do is send a paragraph of no more than 100 words, telling the band why it should be you that supports them, along with a link to where they can hear your music, such as Facebook, Soundcloud, Bandcamp etc.  Please DO NOT attach MP3s to your e-mail.

EVILE will check out each entry and ultimately pick a winner.  One entry per band is allowed, and the winner is responsible for all travel costs and expenses incurred to play the gig.  The closing date for entries is Monday, October 1st, and the winner will be announced on October 10th.  Send your entries to picturedrome@earache.com

Evile Raise One Thousand Pounds For British Lung Foundation

EVILE performed to a packed venue on Tuesday night at the band's free charity show in London, UK, raising £1,040 for charity in the process.

Along with label mates SAVAGE MESSIAH, EVILE rocked out the Old Blue Last with a selection of their hits alongside tracks from their latest album, FIVE SERPENT'S TEETH, with donations collected for the British Lung Foundation in memory of the band's late bassist, MIKE ALEXANDER.

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE comments:

"Now I've fully recovered from the show, I can write something more than 'argh thanks!'.  We turned up at the Old Blue Last fully expecting there to be a small turnout with just two weeks notice of the show, but it ended up packed from front to back with metalheads.  What more could we ask for?  The point of this show was to celebrate the release of our single and video for 'In Memoriam', a track initially created as a tribute to our late, and great bassist, Mike Alexander.  We were taking donations on the night for the British Lung Foundation, in memory of Mike, and we managed to raise £1,040 for the cause.  Thank you SO much to everyone who came down, thrashed with us and donated whatever they could give.  Thank you!!"

Evile Moved To Main Stage For The UK's Bloodstock Festival

EVILE have been moved to the main stage for this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival, which takes place from 9th to 12th August in Walton-On-Trent, UK.

The band had previously been set to play on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Sunday, 12th August, but have now been upgraded to the Ronnie James Dio (main) stage, where they will play alongside the likes of ALICE COOPER, DIMMU BORGIR, ANVIL, NILE and more.

"We're pleased to announce we'll be appearing on the Ronnie James Dio stage at Bloodstock on Sunday - Bloodstock has always been like a home to us and we can't wait to return and hit you with a few surprises in the set!"
