Chimaira Offer Wild Things Cover Via Itunes

click to enlarge(New York, NY) — CHIMAIRA joined in the fun of celebrating Charlie Sheen last week by covering the song "Wild Thing" in the studio, a tribute to Sheen's 1989 movie "Major League". "We had some fun at the studio," says front man Mark Hunter.

The band is currently in the studio finishing up their upcoming record to be released later this year. Recently singing a new record deal with eOne Music for North America, South America and Japan, Hunter offers "We are excited to start the new decade with a team that believes in our music, has our back and thinks outside the box. eOne are one of the very few labels out there who still give a damn about the genre and Chimaira are proud to be a part of that. Expect great things in 2011."

CHIMAIRA released their album "The Infection" back in 2009 to serious critical acclaims with hit
singles "Secrets of the Dead" and "Destroy and Dominate" which claimed the #30 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Their most recent effort was a three disc live DVD, which also features a documentary about the band called "Coming Alive".

Over the past 10 years, the band has sold close to 500,000 albums. The band is currently in the studio working on their next full length, which will be released later this year.

Straight Line Stitch Debut New Music Video For Conversion

The band recently confirmed for this year's DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL held in Donington Park, UK from June 10th through 12th. Sharing the stage with legends as LINKIN' PARK, DEF LEPPARD and SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Formed in 1997 in Montgomery, Alabama, TRUST COMPANY have seen the many peaks and valleys of the music business. Previously signed to Geffen Records, the band has sold over 700,000 albums to date with hit singles such as "Downfall" in 2002 and "Stronger" in 2005. Extensive airplay on MTV for Downfall” and continuous touring with bands like KORN, PAPA ROACH and DISTURBED earned the band an especially rabid following.   

In 2005 the band went on hiatus, "It just stopped being exciting. We had to get away from the big machine for a while” says Singleton.  After a few years, time had finally allowed the band to fall back in love with the reason they played music in the first place. “When we finally got back together – which just started with an email asking if we wanted to jam – we let our wounds heal. It had us focus on the music without any expectations. We started having fun again, and that was all the expectation we wanted. We played for ourselves. It was the same feeling that it was back in the good old days,” explains Palmer.   

TRUST COMPANY wants their fans to know they're back. Returning guitarist James Fukai explains the feeling in one word, "In one word, ENERGIZED. I feel energized from this record. In December of
08', I wrote my goals down for the future. First on the list, ‘write a third record with Trust Company.’
In many ways, the process has been long and taxing, but we made a record that is really special to us".
Singleton concludes, "We are thrilled to be on a label that let us make the record we wanted to
make.  We were very excited about the material we had written and the energy it projects.  The band is in a very positive place and surrounded by great people that are just excited as we are.  I feel this has led us to make the best Trust Company record we have ever made."

THE HUMAN ABSTRACT recently signed a worldwide deal with eOne Music.  "We are really pleased to begin the year with eOne as our new label. This relationship will only prove beneficial to the release of “Digital Veil” and help push the band a step forward into a productive and exciting future," says bassist Henry Selva.

After releasing a pair of records via Hopeless Records, this will be the bands third official full length. Founding guitarist A.J. Minette has also returned to the band and couldn't be more excited. He states,
"It has been a pleasure working with The Human Abstract again. I am looking forward to supporting Digital Veil out on tour."

The band has been seen on tour with acts such as AS I LAY DYING, DIR EN GREY, ALL THAT REMAINS and THE VANS WARPED TOUR in recent years as well.
