"If you haven't grasped this yet, Full Of War is a fantastic album that should be the envy of My Chemical Romance, Paramore and Taking Back Sunday. It is the first truly essential listening of the year."  10/10 Review      Outburn Magazine

"With the markedly improved musicianship and songwriting found on FULL OF WAR, the band should be headlining their own treks in the near future."     Alternative Press Magazine

Producers Brandon Paddock and Taylor Larsen (PERIPHERY), who've done various production and engineering work with THE USED, PAPA ROACH and BLACK VEIL BRIDES, among others have helped CONDITIONS craft an album that is leaps and bounds beyond their already impressive debut, Fluorescent Youth. “We wholeheartedly believed in our last record,” insists Roundtree. “But then after we lived with it, we realized it was maybe a little 'safe' for us. We took that very much to heart and decided to showcase the fact that we are not a play-it-safe band.”

CONDITIONS is: Brandon Roundtree (Vocals), Alex Howard (Guitar & Vocals), Ryan Tinsley (Drums), Corey Thomas (Bass)

Pop Evil Debut Music Video For "Trenches"

Michigan rock heavyweights POP EVIL have debuted a new music video for their hit single "Trenches" exclusively through the band's official website.

The band has created a three part video series, directed by veteran Swedish director Johan Carlén Mask (AVATAR).  The video for “Trenches” is the last in the series, and the first to be released, as each of the three parts will be released in reverse.  The band comments:

"We wanted to portray a realistic view on the issues of addiction and abuse. We hope it makes the viewer take a positive approach on looking at themselves for strength and hope that tomorrow is another day closer to absolution."

Throwdown Enter The Studio, New Record Due Out Later This Year

Southern California heavy music giants THROWDOWN will be entering the studio next week to begin working on their next full length record, with ZEUSS mixing.

The new, yet to be titled effort is the follow up to “Deathless,” which came out four years ago, in 2009 highlighted with tracks "This Continuum," "Burial at Sea" and "The Scythe."

Vocalist Dave Peters offers a statement on the current state of the band and the mindset behind making this next record:

"It's really exciting, if not a little nerve-wracking to be recording again. It has been almost 4 years since 'Deathless' came out, which is about twice as long as the time between albums before it.  While that has probably been annoying for fans that have been waiting and expecting a new record, it has also been the best thing for the writing process for the new album.

I'm really meticulous when writing and arranging even the simplest riffs and songs, so I like to take my time. It has been strange and nice having the freedom to come back to a song or part several weeks later with a different perspective after hitting a wall with it.

We're taking a very minimalist approach with these songs, more like Vendetta and (the first half of) Haymaker.  I avoid putting the cart before the horse, but I see the songs on the record coming out stripped down and yet still refined.  A two-minute song can arrive at the same place as one that fucks around for six, and while it’s more challenging to get there in less time, it is a lot cooler when you do.  I’ve been going back to that when I find myself maybe adding parts or lines that are at risk of being superfluous.

I’m very proud of 'Deathless' and all the work that went into it, but it wasn't a record that Throwdown fans expected.  It was really polarizing on account of that.  I’m simply not looking to continue down that stylistic road with these songs. This is going to be a hard record. I look forward to making it as much for myself as for longtime fans of the band."

Overkill Announce Tour Dates With Kreator

New Jersey thrash legends OVERKILL have announced a co-headlining tour with their Germany's own, KREATOR. Opening the tour will be California's WARBRINGER.

Vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth comments: "Overkill and Kreator is powerhouse combination, a serious one. Two thrash punch. This is what it's all about! Hang on, LET'S DO THIS!"

Tickets will be exclusively available through enterthevault.com today, April 30th with general tickets going on sale May 14th.

Dates will span the U.S. coast to coast with select dates in Canada. The tour will end with two nights at Stage 48 in New York City.

Overkill released "The Electric Age" last year to much critical acclaim.

The record debuted on the BILLBOARD TOP 200 Chart at #73 with approximately 6,700 units sold. To compare, the band's prior release "Ironbound" sold roughly 4,500 copies first week and debuted at #192 making "The Electric Age" the highest charting first week album since their 1994 record "W.F.O."

"The Electric Age picks up where Ironbound left off a couple years back, maintaining the speed and ferocity of that release while throwing in some even more brutal riffs for good measure." - Outburn Magazine

"Containing more hooks than the average Lamb of God record, this Age is one we wouldn't mind living in." - Revolver Magazine

"Sixteen albums in, these dudes are not only still fired up; they’re practicing their craft at the peak of their skills, with no signs of slowing down." - Decibel Magazine
