Architects Launch Indiegogo Campaign For Their Forthcoming Film

Following on from an incredible year, Brighton 4 piece ARCHITECTS can now announce they have launched an INDIEGOGO campaign for the funding of their very first film, ‘100 Days’. Recorded by director and band friend Tom Welsh, the film charts the bands incredible journey across their ‘Almost World Tour’ of 2012, which say them travel over 20,000 miles, playing 75 shows in 25 countries over 4 continents.

Guitarist Tom (Searle) explains a bit more about the film, “We're really excited to share the experience we had on our world tour. The whole thing was shaped by everyone who came to the shows and they changed the way we perceive this band. The world of crowdfunding is an unknown one to all of us but we're excited to see what we achieve between us and our fans. Because they're the reason our band continues to exist and progress.”

 

Live wise ARCHITECTS have recently toured Europe as main support to Rise Against, the US with Enter Shikari, and will be heading back out to the USA for a slot on the whole of the 2013 Warped Tour.

 

The band will be back in the UK playing main stage Download Festival on Friday 14^th June

Rival Sons Kick Off UK Leg Of European Tour Tonight In London

Long Beach blues-rockers RIVAL SONS have returned to the UK to kick off the next leg of their European tour.

The band will be performing tonight - Tuesday, April 9th - at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, before continuing their trek around the UK for another six shows.  The band will then be returning to Europe again in June for a number of summer festival appearances, including the UK's legendary Download festival.

Rival Sons Confirm European Summer Festivals

RIVAL SONS have confirmed a number of European festival appearances for this summer, including the UK's prestigious Download festival.

The band kicked off a European headlining tour last week, and will return to Europe again in June for Finland's Kivenlahti Rock festival, Norway's Bergenfest and Norwegian Wood festivals, and the UK's Download festival at the legendary Donington Park.

RIVAL SONS guitarist SCOTT HOLIDAY comments:

"We disappointed a lot of Scandinavian fans when we announced our current tour, totally devoid of any Norway or Finnish dates.  Heck, we were actually disappointed ourselves to not be including these placed.  But alas, it was all part of our master plan, as we are delighted to announce we will be playing three major Scandinavian festivals this summer: Kivenlahti Rock, Finland; Bergenfest, Bergen, Norway; and Norwegian Wood, Oslo, Norway.

"Last year we played Download - barely - due to equipment exploding backstage, electrical fires, thieves, robbers, angry dogs, and other unforeseen problems, we only got to play about half our set.  We couldn't be more delighted to announce we're coming back to play this year - and this time we'll be prepared for all hi-jinx."

Dropkick Murphys Announce 'Halfway To St. Patrick's Day' Show

Currently in the midst of a run of European tour dates--including a performance at the UK’s 10^th annual Download Festival--Dropkick Murphys have announced a September 21 show at Boston’s Bank Of American Pavilion waterfront amphitheatre as part of their “Halfway To St. Patrick’s Day Tour.” Additional September tour dates will be announced soon.

Tickets for the September 21 show go on-sale Saturday, June 9. Rival Sons Confirmed For The UK's Download Festival

RIVAL SONS have been confirmed to play at this year's edition of the Download festival, which is held at Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK from June 8th to June 10th.

The band, who are currently on a sold out tour in the UK with BLACK STONE CHERRY, will be performing on the second stage on the final day of the festival, and join a line-up including METALLICA, BLACK SABBATH, SOUNDGARDEN, SLASH and more.
