The Veer Union Posts "Bitter End" Music Video On YouTube

Vancouver’s emerging hard rock presence, The Veer Union, has uploaded its new music video for “Bitter End” to YouTube: http://youtu.be/IMRHG2dqBTc. The video, which was directed by Aaron Veale and produced by Kevin Rigney of Assembly Productions, originally premiered earlier this month exclusively on Music Choice On Demand.

Commented vocalist, Crispin Earl, “‘Bitter End’ describes Eric [Schraeder, guitar/vocals] and I finding the inner strength to persevere through seemingly impossible times to once again do what we love most, which is creating music.”

“Bitter End” comes from The Veer Union’s sophomore release, Divide The Blackened Sky, which hit stores on March 26th via Rocket Science Ventures.

The blistering, 10-track offering that Loudwire.com says is, “jam-packed with a blend of teeth-grating rhythms and commercial melodies that are heavy enough to appeal to the hard rock fan while rarely too vicious or overindulgent,” can be purchased on iTunes: http://bit.ly/GURBEE and at numerous music retailers, including Best Buy, Transworld and more.

The track list for Divide The Blackened Sky is…
1. Borderline
2. Bitter End
3. I Will Remain
4. Buried In The Ground
5. Inside Our Scars
6. Live Another Day
7. Divide The Blackened Sky
8. Silent Gun
9. Last Days Of Life
10. Stolen

Divide The Blackened Sky was recorded at VanHowes Studios, Greenhouse Studios and Renegade Studios in Vancouver, BC - a record Earl proclaims to be, “a much darker and heavier effort than our previous works. It depicts all the hard times we have been through over the last couple of years.”

The majority of the album was self-produced and recorded by the band. In addition, production on the first single, “Bitter End,” was handled by world-renowned producer, Brian Howes (Nickelback, Hinder, Skillet, Puddle Of Mudd, Rev Theory), and was mixed by Jay Van Poederooyen.

The Veer Union is currently embarked on an extensive run of U.S. tour-dates in support of Divide The Blackened Sky.

The band recently wrapped up a slew of club shows with My Darkest Days, and will kick off a month-plus long stint with Smile Empty Soul beginning May 4th.

About The Veer Union…

The Veer Union made its mark in 2009 with the top 10 hit single, “Seasons,” off the debut album, Against The Grain, which peaked at #7 and was the longest charting rock song for a new artist all year. It became the theme song for the 2009 Stanley Cup winners, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and was also featured in all Major League Baseball postseason telecasts, as well as the NFL, NASCAR, ESPN, WWE, NHL and more. The second single, “Youth of Yesterday,” was the highest added song to rock radio the first week of its release.

The Veer Union has toured the US for over a year in support of Against The Grain, hitting major cities across the nation. The band has played shows and festivals with the likes of Staind, Hinder, Theory of A Deadman, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Framing Hanley, 30 Seconds to Mars, Flyleaf and many more.
