World Debut Of Meshuggah's New Video

Ever wonder what falling down a flight of 200 concrete stairs would look & sound like?  Here’s your answer.

Now available for viewing by the entire world and all neighboring solar systems on Nuclear Blast’s YouTube channel is the video for MESHUGGAH’s “Break These Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion.”

The performance video was directed by Owe Lingvall of Sweden’s Village Road Film.  Neither the band nor the director can be held responsible for any low-frequency hearing loss or bruising (internal or otherwise) which may result from watching it.

States vocalist Jens Kidman:  “We were high on tacos and sodas when we recorded this video.”

First-day sales for KOLOSS, the latest studio album by Sweden’s MESHUGGAH, secured the #1 position on Amazon.com’s Hard Rock & Metal Top Albums chart & the #16 position on the iTunes Top Albums chart in North America plus the following seven iTunes Top 10 Rock Albums charts around the world:

#2 - U.S.

#2 – Canada

#2 - Sweden

#3 – Australia

#5 - Norway

#6 - France

#8 - U.K.

The latest issue of Outburn Magazine (#63 on newsstands now) has professed: “MESHUGGAH has never sounded so ominous and imposing.  Every one of the first nine tracks is designed to cripple you… it’s only [the] instrumental closer that allows anything resembling respite.  Truly, a band with no equal.”

ModernDrummer.com calls KOLOSS “an undiminished sense of power and complexity.”

SPIN.com hails MESHUGGAH as “one of those rare bands you have to hear to believe.”

Alarm Press listed the new album as one of this week’s best new albums.
