This single track, 27-minute epic represents the epitome of poetic grace and funeral soundscapes from one of gothic doom’s most celebrated acts. With a masterful blend of pounding guitar riffs and sombre atmospheric passages, My Dying Bride embarks on a chilling journey through superstition and folklore.

 ‘The Barghest O’ Whitby’ was recorded at Futureworks Studios, Manchester with long-time production partner and engineer, Mags. The release is the first to feature violin/keyboardist Shaun Macgowan, and sees the return of Shaun “Winter“ Taylor Steels to the drum-stool for this recording.

Evile Kick Off UK Headlining Tour With Savage Messiah

British thrashers EVILE kicked off a headlining UK tour in support of their critically-acclaimed new album, FIVE SERPENT'S TEETH.

Following a number of special FIVE SERPENT'S TEETH album release shows, EVILE are now heading back out on the road for a full UK trek with support from their labelmates and fellow UK thrashers, SAVAGE MESSIAH.  EVILE will also be taking part in a number of signing sessions at Blue Banana stores during the tour.

Threshold Studio Update

British progressive metallers THRESHOLD have just completed pre-production and are currently at Thin Ice Studios (DRAGONFORCE, PENDRAGON) in Surrey, England recording drum tracks for their ninth studio album. 

"We've got about 75 minutes of music at the moment so there's plenty to do,"  states keyboard player Richard West, who is producing the album alongside guitarist Karl Groom, who adds: "I'm very pleased with the way this album is coming together.  It is particularly good to see contributions in writing from more band members.” 

The voice of original THRESHOLD vocalist Damian Wilson (HEADSPACE, STAR ONE) will be heard once again.  He rejoined the band in 2007 following the departure of Andrew 'Mac' McDermott who sadly passed away on the 3^rd of August 2011.

THRESHOLD's previous studio record Dead Reckoning was released in 2007 and featured guest vocals by Dan Swanö (NIGHTINGALE, BLOODBATH). The album entered the U.K. rock charts at #37, the German album chart at #64, and #95 in The Netherlands. 

Expect the new THRESHOLD album in 2012.

AFM Records North American Release Update

Hard rock kings SINNER, who have been engaging the scene with their blistering tunes since the mid-'80s, are back with a brand new album, and are preparing to unleash One Bullet Left onto North American fans this November 8th. The usual cycle of long gap between SINNER albums is over, as One Bullet Left sees release only three years after their persuasive Crash & Burn album. The self-titled debut from WOLFPAKK is out now in North America. The brainchild of musicians Michael Voss (ex-Casanova, Mad Max) and Mark Sweeney (ex-Crystal Ball), the goal of WOLFPAKK was not only to feature their respective characteristics and strengths, but also to be joined by guest musicians on the album from all over the hard rock and traditional metal scenes. Within a very short time over thirty musicians from all over the world had contacted the ambitious Sweeney and Voss to take part in the project, and an album was constructed. Simply dubbed Wolfpakk, all ten songs were written by Voss and Sweeney, who also shared in the vocal duties, in addition to handling all production and mixing. Noisecreep Premieres Track From Noctem's Upcoming Release

Formed in 2001, Spanish troop Noctem was borne out of the kind of frustration that makes for great extreme metal songwriting. It's founders cradled by the ideals of violence exaltation, misanthropy and antithesis to the totality of the absurd religions created this most excellent machine of War, which advances by leaps and bounds among the ranks of a putrid and poor social values infested civilization.

After a couple of demos and a live record, Noctem released 'Divinity,' their debut album in 2009. Since then the quintet has hit the road hard and shared stages with the likes of Napalm Death, Gorgoroth and Incantation. Earlier this year, Noctem entered the studio to work on their sophomore full-length Oblivion, the 11-song album that will hit North American stores Oct. 25th.
