You all know how extremely jaded I am by now right? If you say something impresses the hell out of me that means something. There are few things that have impressed me recently than ETERNAL DESCENT. What is ETERNAL DESCENT? It is a band, it is a comic book, it is even a cartoon now! It is the mastermind creation of Llexi Leon. He is the artist that creates both the comic book and the music of ETERNAL DESCENT. He has collaborated with artists as diverse as God Forbid, Firewind, Atreyu, and Static X.  Well I have some great news for you all. We are giving away 6 issues of the comic book. This is a $24 value and it can all be yours. Let me be clear that I am not a big comic book fan, but this thing is pure awesome. Trust me when I say that no matter how much of a comic book fan you are you need to check this stuff out. This is the best combination of comic books and Metal since Kiss in the 70's!

On the topic of what collaberation is my favorite, that'd be Static-X. I've been listening to those guys close to a decade now and despite how simple the music is, I still love it. Man, I remember when Machine was new, and each album after that. One day, during a long train ride, I challenged myself to listen to all the albums - from Wisconson Death Trip to Cult of Static - just to figure out in which order my favorite to least favorite albums were. That is - Shadow Zone, Wisonson Death Trip, Start a War, Cannibal, Cult of Static and Machine, from best to least best. Not worst, 'cause those albums are still great.
