The Christian metalcore quintet, I THE BREATHER, are currently touring across North American with As Blood Runs Black, Thick As Blood, Burning The Masses, In The Midst of Lions and King Conquer, which puts the wraps on a very productive year. They are one of the most enthusiastic, hard working and promising new bands to come onto the scene as of late and their highly acclaimed debut full-length album, These Are My Sins, just debuted at #39 on Billboard's New Artist Chart.
Their stellar and highly energetic new video for the track, “Forgiven,” shot by up-and-coming director Chris Rodriguez, can be seen now at www.facebook.com/ithebreather. You can also view the band's entire touring itinerary and stream new tracks here as well.
Morgan (drums) further states: “This tour has been amazing! It has definitely been one of my favorite tours thus far. The shows have been terrific, I'm noticing a lot of kids coming out to the shows and singing along to our songs. That's an amazing feeling; all the bands are so much fun to hang out with and everyone on this tour makes each day one to remember. We're all having a blast.
“When I received the news of our first week sales today, I was ecstatic. I was in a mall upon receiving the news, eating with the guys and when I got the word I immediately stood up and gave them the biggest high fives ever. It's such a great feeling when hard work pays off. I have to say thank you to everyone for picking up a copy.
“After this tour we will get home just in time for the holidays. We are playing a very special Christmas hometown show at the Recher Theatre in Towson, MD on Christmas night. It's a free show, so I encourage anyone and everyone in MD to come out and take in the holiday with us. Other than that, we will be spending a lot of quality time with our family, friends, girlfriends and just soak in the holidays with all the right people.
“I am very optimistic about 2011 with our relentless touring schedule. In January, we'll be out on the road with Oceano, For The Fallen Dreams, Upon A Burning Body and The Great Commission. In February, we'll be hitting the road with Shai Hulud, Close Your Eyes, Monsters and Counterparts. I know we also have some other killer tours in the works. We'll be out on the road a lot in support of our new album, These Are My Sins, so please come to a show when we're in your area and rock with us.”
