"Relentless Retribution", the new album from San Francisco Bay Area metallers DEATH ANGEL, sold around 2,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 10 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. The record also came in at #188 on Billboards Top Current Albums chart, making it DEATH ANGEL’s highest charting record since the bands reformation in 2004.
DEATH ANGEL have uploaded the tracks “Truce” and “River of Rapture” to their Myspace page www.myspace.com/deathangel. The songs comes off their latest record, Relentless Retribution, which was released on September 14 in North America.
