Rock My Monkey Energy Drink FAQ
So our new Energy Drink has been released. Yup, it is available for sale now. So what about those band sponsorships? That page is now up as well HERE. We will offer a band sponsorship to any band that can reach one of the top 5 spots on our link exchange. What does this mean? This means that your band should start by CLICKING HERE to get started. This shows us you know how to network, have a fanbase, and are ready for something like this.
Why get sponsored?
When you are sponsored you are given a coupon code. This will be the band's name if at all possible. Send your fans, friends, family, yourselves, and even your worst enemy to the site to buy this great product. We take care of everything as far as the sale goes, but then give you $2. That's right. Bands earn $2 for each sale where someone uses their band name as a coupon code. This coupon code will give the person $3 off the price. As we grow as a company we hope to increase both of these amounts.
Why Make A Band Get To Number One On The Chart First?
Well, two reasons. First why set up an account if the band doesn't give a crap? We do this so that the bands that give a crap get accounts. If your band can't get a few votes on an online form, what makes you think you can get people to buy the product? If you can't get people to buy the product neither your band nor us will get anything out of the deal. So why bother? If you have not noticed I only help bands who can help themselves. I hand out nothing. If you are looking to get something for nothing, please look elsewhere. if you want a relationship where you get out of it what you put into it, this is the place. Deal?
Why so expensive?
Compared to what exactly? Cheap crap product by massively large companies that do nothing for the unsigned bands we all love? This entire system was set up to sponsor bands. Not just that but actually help them. To be able to release quality product and help bands, this is the cheapest we can do this. If all you care about is how cheap something is in price, you will only get cheap quality products. Don't worry. After years of consuming super cheap products, you might be able to grow a second head! The best part is that the second head will be free! Cool huh? Sorry, but our premium product will not cause you to grow a second head.
Does A Band Have To be Exclusive?
Why should I care? No matter if you are sponsored by a ton of other drinks, you will get out of our deal what you put into it. So we will not play the overly jealous and insecure boyfriend. You do what you need to do and we will be here for you when you need us. Cool?
How Often Does A Band Get Paid?
We will make out checks about every 90 days. Jan 1st, April 2nd, July 1st, and Oct 1st.
Can A Band Get Kicked Off?
That would really suck if we ever had to do that, but anything is possible. We always have maintained a zero tolerance against racism. So if we are convinced at any time that a band promotes those ideals, they could be removed from the program. In that spirit, any band that goes against that which this site, the Rock My Monkey Company, or it's owners, stand for they will be removed. If we get cluttered with tons of bands that seem inactive, we may remove those bands to make room for bands that are more interested in this program.
Who is the check written out to
Well, we can't actually write a check to a band unless that band is a business entity with a business account. So most the time we will be writing the check out to one representative of the band.
What are the recommended methods of getting sales?
Post the link on Facebook. Post the link on your Twitter account. Post the link on your MySpace account. Post the link on your ReverbNation account. Post the link on your official website. Make up a flyer at your shows with the website address and directions to use your band name as the coupon code.
What Styles Of Music?
Well our first name is Rock, so we greatly prefer some form of guitar based music. This means Rock, Metal, Punk, and most of it's off shoots. Nothing against Rap, Techno, Country or Jazz. The owners of the site love some of those styles too, but we have a target auidence and that auidence is Rock. Oh, and that whole Rap-Rock, Rap-Metal, and Rap-coe thing? That, Dubstep, and every other trendy style can go fuck it's self. Seriously.
