Rock My Monkey Dead Pool Game!

I know I am pretty late with this one, but there will be a rule added to the game for late people like myself. Credit for inspiration goes to my former "Necrobeast" band mate and current tech journalist Matt Hickey. Feel free to send your dead pool entries to Mark@RockMyMonkey.com.

RULES:
1. Each person on your list is worth 100 points minus their age. For example: If your pick dies at age 67, you will receive 33 points. If they die at 33, you will receive 67 points.

2. A celebrity must be someone who has achieved some level of fame. A person is considered a celebrity if a national publication (NYTimes, CNN, USA TODAY) reports on their death.

3. Executions don't count. People on death-row or on trial for crimes that might earn a death penalty are not eligible at all.

4. Only real humans allowed. No fictional characters, no companies, no fads/concepts, no governments, no animals.

5: The order in which you list your dead celebs doesn't matter, pick any you wish. It's all about the points, which are based on age.

6: The Late To The Game Clause:
Since our version of the game is late I must add a rule. A player will subtract ten points for every month after Jan 1st that their list is submitted. So for Anything submitted Jan 2nd or after the player subtracts 10 points. If a player submits their list in Feb they will subtract 20 points from their final score. A list submitted in March will get 30 points subtracted from their final score. Etc.

7: Lists Must Be Ten People Long
No less than 10 and no more than 10. The list must be exactly ten celebrities long.

The following are the results for the 2012 Dead Pool.

The clear winner is Ed Halbert with second place going to Caroline Hanke. I think I speak for everyone when I say we hate Ed Halbert now, are jealous of his victory, and I hope you all study hard to knock him off his pedestal next year. No seriously, don't let this bastard win again. His gloating this year is going to be bad enough.
